What does Police CyberAlarm provide for Managed Service Providers?

Police CyberAlarm is a government-funded initiative by the Home Office, developed in partnership with The National Cybercrime Team hosted by the City of London Police, for UK policing.

As an MSP you will be able to offer the member benefits of Police CyberAlarm to all your clients, these are all available as part of the Home Office Funded solution, at no cost to you as an MSP.

It is designed to help organisations monitor and understand malicious cyber activity. It provides automated threat reporting by collecting metadata from external traffic targeting your network without accessing internal systems or sensitive data.

How Police CyberAlarm Works

Turning Network Data into Actionable Security

It works by installing a small virtual or physical device within your network, typically in the DMZ, or any location capable of receiving firewall syslog data. This device enables the generation of a Member Threat Report, which offers insights into ongoing cyber threats.

In addition, members can opt in to receive external vulnerability scans on public-facing IPs or websites, helping to identify and address potential weaknesses proactively.
