NPCC National Cybercrime Programme Lead
The National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) Cybercrime Programme works across law enforcement to develop capability, resources, and tools to help policing work with individuals and businesses to tackle the growing threat of cybercrime. Police CyberAlarm is one of a number of initiatives the Programme has developed.
Each region within England and Wales has a Regional Organised Crime Unit (ROCU), which is a collaboration between the local forces to help tackle the most serious of crimes. Within each of the ROCUs is a Regional Cybercrime Unit and each region has a designated PCA SPOC (Single Point of Contact) who can assist with any questions. The technical support team provide direct assistance to new members and to police users of the PCA system. The technical team work for Pervade Software, a UK-based software vendor who produce and maintain the system PCA is based on.
